The Spatchcock Plan
By Philip McCutchan
Commander Shaw is back with another international conspiracy – and this time it’s personal.
Long time partner and lover Felicity Mandrake has been mysteriously kidnapped. “Big” Max, Executive Head of 6D2 London is loath to put Shaw on the case – not just because of his personal involvement with Felicity, but it seems that her kiddnapper is Al Kufra.
Only known to be a Libiyan, Al Kufra was captured by Felicty some years back – thwarting what was to be his latest terrorist attack. Humiliated, he vowed his revenge on her. But Al Kufra is currently in jail, serving a life sentence. It seems the “Al Kufra” kidnapper wants to make an exchange – Felicty for the real Al Kufra. Much to Shaw’s vexation, the British Government won’t cooperate. However, the powers that be have another plan in mind…
The 20th instalment in Philip McCutchan’s Commander Shaw Series is another brilliant cold war thriller. With plenty of suspense and action-packed scenes, McCutchan’s novel is sure to be a page turner.
