Alan Scholefield is South African by birth but came to England in 1961 where he has lived ever since. By training as a journalist, he has been a full-time novelist since the early seventies. Three of his novels have been made into films, including the award-winning Venom. He also writes under the pseudonym of Lee Jordan.
