Once they were childhood sweethearts, but, after an acrimonious divorce years before, the only contact Tessa Wallis had with her ex-husband, Chay, was in relation to their daughter and her welfare.

With Megan now grown up Tessa is surprised to receive a message from Chay, desperate to speak to her. Tessa is shocked when he tells her he believes they may still be married.

It’s ridiculous, of course, and once the missing decree is found they can go back to living their separate lives and forget all about each other, can’t they?
