By Nora Fountain
Paediatrician Serena Blake’s idea of adventure is applying for a new hospital job in Dorset.
Then her brother introduces her to the ruggedly handsome journalist and adventurer, Jake Andrews, and she finds herself agreeing to accompany him to the African jungle in order to help sick and injured children.
But their trip takes an unexpected turn when the pair soon find themselves in the middle of an impending coup. And to make matters worse, Serena discovers that she’s falling in love with Jake, though she’s sure he will forget about her once – and if – they get back home…
