Three British missiles experts vanish in midair.

Travelling on ordinary scheduled passenger flights, three scientists suddenly vanish without a trace and no wreckage of the aircraft is ever found.

The Foreign Office is quick to blame Russia – until they discover that Russian scientists have also disappeared in equally mysterious circumstances.
