A Well-Pressed Shroud
By Nicholas Rhea
Hardworking Detective Inspector Montague Pluke’s much-needed holiday is disturbed when he stumbles upon the body of the Trippingdale estate’s heir floating face down in shallow waters. To make matters even stranger, the heir and several other people in the village had recently received a single pressed snowdrop – a well-known sign of death. Can he find the murderer before another body is found? Or is this well-pressed shroud a harbinger for a series of killings that Pluke will fail to prevent?
