Kelpie
By Christopher C. Tubbs
DISCOVER A BRAND NEW THRILLING NAVAL SERIES FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE DORSET BOY SERIES.
Perfect for fans of Ken Follett, Alistair MacLean, Alan Savage, Patrick O’Brian, David McDine and Antony Melville-Ross.
For centuries, decoy ships lured pirates to their doom. Now one has been built for the modern age.
On the surface, the Kelpie is just another container ship. Slow, lumbering and defenceless.
In truth she is the deadliest vessel afloat: concealed cannon, hidden fast-attack boats, cutting-edge sensors, and a crew of special forces operators drawn from the finest units in Europe.
Funded by governments who will never admit she exists, the Kelpie’s mission is simple. Sail into the world’s most dangerous waters. Wait for the pirates to come. Then destroy them.
From the Gulf of Aden to the Malacca Strait, Captain Vic Stockley and combat commander Will Scott spring one lethal trap after another.
But when a mission goes wrong and one of the crew is taken, it becomes personal.
Sail under a false flag and there are no rules.
There is only the hunt.
