Peg Kerr was born in a Chicago suburb, moved to Minnesota to attend college, and has stayed in Minnesota ever since. She attended the Clarion Writers Workshop in 1988, and in addition to writing short fiction that has appeared in various science fiction and fantasy magazines and anthologies, she is the author of the novels Emerald House Rising and The Wild Swans.
