The Sundown Trail

There’s no turning back…

Nathan Knight is nothing.

A nobody from nowhere who spends his days hoeing his deadbeat father’s land whilst the latter drinks the day away.

He has no past to speak of, and even less of a future.

Until he meets Hannibal Reno, that is.

Reno is a bounty hunter, a deadly man with no feelings towards those men he tracks; only a craving for the reward money their capture promises.

But Reno is going blind, forced to strike at sundown to keep his chances even. When he unexpectedly finds himself in debt to the young nobody Nathan Knight, the two men’s lives become tied.

Reno is forced to accept Nathan as his protégée, and slowly turns him into his “eyes”. As Reno guides Nathan in his new profession, Nathan’s conscience is stifled by the conviction that the men he hunts are outlaws and killers deserving of capture or death.

It is not until Nathan trails and catches the most wanted man in the South-west that he begins to question what he is doing and what he has become.

And it’s not until he risks his own life to save his captive that he realises he has to leave Sundown Trail – and fast.
But is it already too later…?
