Scuba Dancing

By Nicola Slade

‘Join the group… it’ll change your life forever’

Finn Fitzgerald has walked out on her job in Brussels, her flat, and her cheating boyfriend to move to Hampshire. At 40, she decides it’s about time she took herself in hand and found out what she wants from life.

Moving in with her sister, Finn finds herself a part of an unusual social group – a number of lonely people, of all ages, who meet just for company. She also meets the gorgeous Charlie Stuart.

Soon, Finn and Charlie find themselves drawn into the group’s money-making activities, and love is in the air. That is, until they find out more about the alleged good cause of the fund-raising effort, and Finn finds out Charlie’s secret…

Nicola Slade was brought up in Poole, in Dorset, and since then has lived in various places including Cairo, in Egypt. Nicola’s books are all set in Hampshire, and Scuba Dancing, a romantic comedy, was her first published novel. She then turned to crime with the Charlotte Richmond Mysteries, a historical series, and The Harriet Quigley Mysteries, a contemporary mystery series which features a recently-retired headmistress. In 2017 The House at Ladywell, a contemporary romantic novel with historical echoes, was published by Crooked Cat books. It is currently a semi-finalist in the Chatelaine awards, based in the USA.
