By Tim Madge

Life is savage.

Steve lives an idyllic life. He has a home in a fashionable part of the city with Sally, his loving and successful wife, both with promising careers, and with close friends and family.

One night, however, Steve experiences an unexpected passionate night with a stranger, Helen, who has awakened his carnal senses in ways he never thought possible. He wants her, but he isn’t willing to leave his wife; eventually, he ends the affair.

Yet the wrath of a woman scorned can reach unimaginable levels. Especially when Helen turns up in the mountain hotel where he has taken Sally to mend their marriage. Secrets unravel in those mountains and Steve finds out, finally, just how savage life can be.

Savage is the gripping story of a man’s journey into temptation and out the other side again.

Tim Madge is the author of 22 books, including the best-selling award-winning Maiden (written with Tracy Edwards), a biography of Bill Tilman, the explorer, and a history of Royal and State Yachts.
