Perchance: A Tale of the Paraverse

By Michael Kurland

There are many universes, but there are few who can jump between them…

Delbit Quint, a young apprentice, is bought by Dr Faineworth and transported to an alternate version of New York City to help the doctor investigate a mysterious woman. Her name is Exxa, and she has appeared seemingly from nowhere, lost on the streets with nothing. Exxa has no memories of herself or her background, and when Quint and Faineworth go to find her, she is nowhere to be found.

Thus begins an adventure across universes as Quint discovers strange and different Earths through time and space. But the two companions are not travelling alone, and not all of those that can jump between realities are friendly. The two soon discover they are not the only ones searching for Exxa, the only being that can move from one world to another without any mechanical assistance.

Perchance: A Tale of the Paraverse is a fantastical science fiction adventure from master storyteller Michael Kurland.
