Nowhere To Run
By Evelyn Hood
Karen Roberts appears to have it all.
She is heiress to a small, but profitable business, stunningly beautiful and surrounded by people she loves.
But underneath the surface, Karen is struggling.
She doesn’t understand anything about the job that she has inherited from her beloved father. Her marriage has fallen apart, and she’s forced to live in the family home with her estranged husband and his judging, harsh sister.
And now someone just attacked, leaving her suffering from amnesia.
She finds herself leaning more on the people closest to her, whether she wants to or not.
Her worrisome aunt; her snapping husband, her bitchy sister in law, her jilted ex-fiancĂ©, her tired and busy best friend – but when she turns to them for help she finds out that they are also the people she has hurt most of all.
Jealousy, greed and lust all play their parts in leaving Karen feeling more scared and alone than ever before.
They all think she’s paranoid, and overreacting. But when a girl turns up dead in Karen’s front garden, she knows it’s not a coincidence, despite what everyone keeps telling her.
Her life is in danger. Someone wants her dead.
And that someone might be one of her closest friends…
