1818. The Battle of Waterloo has been fought and won and Napoleon has been exiled to St Helena to spend the rest of his days rotting away in obscurity. But Samson Armstrong, an impoverished ship captain, stumbles on a plot to set him free to rule again and is persuaded to lead a rescue voyage. Napoleon has made himself dangerous enemies on the island and the walls are closing in. Will Samson and the motley crew arrive to rescue him in time?
