Moonraker Mutiny

By Antony Trew

Into the cyclone.

The old freighter Moonraker, her crew unskilled and mutinous, leaves Fremantle for Mauritius – a voyage through some of the most dangerous waters in the world. Seven days out, she receives a cyclone warning.

Her alcoholic captain, in the grip of a major hangover, makes a fatal error. He sets his ship on a collision course with Cyclone Alpha and all its fury…

The Moonraker Mutiny is a whirlwind adventure into the eye of the storm.

Antony Trew (1906-1996) spent many years at sea. During the 1939-45 war he served with the Mediterranean Fleet in the 22nd Anti-Submarine Group, and in the Western Approaches where he commanded the destroyer Walker, principally on Russian convoys. He was awarded the DSC. His highly successful career as a novelist began with the bestselling Two Hours of Darkness in 1963.
