Inspector Proby in Court
By John Gano
Inspector Proby’s career reaches crisis point when he has to appear in court – on a charge of murder.

Proby reaches for the desperate man but before he can be hauled to safety, something goes terribly wrong and the suspect falls to his death.
Did Proby take the law into his own hands and act as executioner? There is a public outcry and Proby has to fight to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, he has another murder on his hands…
