Forest Wars
By Graham Diamond
“This combined abominable army will spread death and destruction everywhere. Already great alarm is mounting across the forests. No species can be safe. This army will perpetrate mass genocide.”
A world of men and wolves and forest animals pitted against hordes of violent armies of wild, ferocious canines and vampire bat allies.
Forest Wars sees us reunited with the character Gwen, the mistress of The Haven, who holds sway over the realm whilst her husband Nigel is gone.
He must try and lead an expedition of wolves and men in an attempt to find an unknown path through the forest to new lands.
But the armies of The Mongrels and The Night Birds are amassing to wage war and bring the inhabitants of The Haven to their final destruction.
Nigel is running out of time to save his homeland. And there are also troubles closer to home.
The Council of 29, seemingly loyal to Gwen’s rule, are secretly plotting her demise.
Only Nigel’s successful mission to the new lands and triumphant return with whatever help he can find will stave off a coup that could destroy them all…
