Every Night’s a Bullfight

It is the opening night of the Shireston Festival Company’s new season and Director Douglas Silver attempts to put on a radical Shakespearian drama. He casts leery night-club entertainer Joe as Othello, and emotions run high when he casts both his wife and mistress in leading roles. Conflict and protest are inevitable. Will the audience accept his radical interpretation of Romeo and Juliet? Or will they dismiss it all as a cheap gimmick?
