Coyote Trail
By Burt Kroll
Newtown county sure has made a name for itself recently. And not for the right reasons.
With reports coming in thick and fast of outlaws and bad men causing havoc among the locals, this town is in desperate need of a clean-up.
And federal lawman Kett Dade may be just the man for the job.
Two lawmen had recently taken on the very same task, but soon met their grisly fate at the hands of the outlaws and their sixguns within just a few days of arriving at Bright Creek.
So what makes Dade think that he can outrun them?
For starters, his approach to catching these badmen is a little more tactile.
With his pard, Steve Burke, already in the county undercover, Dade must discover the truth whilst protecting his real identity, or risk finding himself buried six feet under next to the lawmen before him who had tried and failed.
It doesn’t take long for him to gather a list of criminal suspects. But with so many shootouts happening in one sleepy town, is everyone fighting the same battle?
And as he makes new alliances and lets his guard down, is trusting these locals really a good idea?
Packed with gunfire and drama, Coyote Trail is a thrilling western adventure from author Burt Kroll.
