MEET THE AUTHOR
John Macrae is the pen name of a former Senior Intelligence Officer with a Special Forces background who spent 25 years in the British Army. He saw active service in the Falkland Islands, Cyprus, Arabia, and Northern Ireland and worked in Whitehall and for NATO. He has written extensively on intelligence and military history and has advised on the Global Security syllabus for Cranfield University. He’s also a sought-after commentator on military and intelligence subjects for BBC television and radio.
