Matthew Lynn
Founder
I have had two careers. I have been a financial journalist and columnist for The Sunday Times, Bloomberg, The Spectator and The Daily Telegraph. And I have also been a thriller writer for Random House and Headline, with books such as Insecurity, The Watchmen and the Death Force series. Bringing together the two passions of my life – business and books – I founded Lume Books to create the most innovative, tech-savvy publishing company in Britain.
A book that left a deep impression: The Open Society & Its Enemies by Karl Popper.
My literary hero: John Yossarian from Catch-22.
A book I’d recommend to everyone: The Way We Live Now by Anthony Trollope.
