I’ve worked in publishing since 2014 in various roles covering marketing, sales and rights, which means I can appreciate the full scope of publishing as ‘art meets business!’ If I didn’t work in this industry, I think I’d either indulge my love for stories in documentary making, or I’d be a police detective, qualified only by my appetite for Netflix True Crime shows!

A book that left a deep impression: In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park. An incredible insight into North Korea and a heart-wrenching story of survival.

My literary hero: Emma Woodhouse. Embodies all of Austen’s trademark sass, but less worthy and more relatable than Elizabeth Bennet.

A book I’d recommend to everyone: Pied Piper by Nevil Shute. Literary food for the soul.
