The robbery of the century…

There is a solid gold Buddha in Bangkok and Bernard Miller is going to steal it.

Not the entire thing, of course… only 5 million pounds’ worth.

His wife is dead and his son has an expensive and life-threatening disease.

If Miller can’t get the gold quickly he won’t be able to afford his son’s treatment.

At this point, Miller will do anything.

Luckily, he’s amassed a rag-tag group with just as little to lose: a failed American sculptor, a penniless theatre owner and a debt-ridden businessman.

But of course it won’t be that easy: Miller and his men will need to outwit the police force, a mob boss and somehow get the Buddha out of one of the most revered temples in all of Bangkok.
