No one knows what caused The Break eleven months ago, but there’s no sign of it coming to an end.

It’s Wednesday 7th March 2018 on mainland UK. Everywhere else, it’s June 1065.

Jennifer Baldwin’s family survived the nightmare famine following The Break by smuggling modern-day goods to France in return for the 1065 Outsiders’ precious silver. The State Security Bureau have taken her parents away, and Jennifer will be next.

The streets of London have turned into a post-apocalptic wasteland and Jennifer is only narrowly rescued from a gang of cannibals by Michael, a Greek ambassador from ancient Constantinople who stumbled into modern-day Britain.

Michael and Jennifer are now on a life-or-death mission to stay one step ahead of the untrustworthy government while trying to discover what the top secret Doomsday Project involves…
