Ripcord
By William H. Lovejoy
A husband and wife are found butchered and mutilated in an abandoned farm near Albuquerque. Their bodies the only sign of the ruthless brutality they were subjected to, and a wedding band the only evidence that can be used to identify the bodies.
A sheriff suspects that ex-military personnel could be involved, but soon after he starts his enquiries he is brutally murdered along with his wife and two children.
When FBI agent Steven Wayne steps in, putting his life, and that of his gilfriend, in danger, there are six murders with no connection, no motives and no mercy.
Wayne must decide which few allies he can trust as he works to seek out killers who don’t want to be found.
