Patient Nurse

For years, Wendy Curtis has been in love with Roger Harley.

Their love for tennis was mutual and many of the off-duty time was spent playing. But as their friendship grew stronger, Wendy realised that it wasn’t enough for her. She was in love with Roger, and there was no denying it. However, it was clear to her that Roger saw her as little more than a younger sister.

Roger Harley’s had always dreamt of opening a nursing home. With a small fortune due to be inherited, Roger’s focus was entirely on this dream he’d been nurturing. There was no time for a wife or family. There would be plenty of time for that once he had the nursing home up and running. He would have to be focused and oblivious to life’s natural desires … no matter the outcome.

Aware of Wendy’s feelings, Roger informs her of his plans, but Wendy has no desire to take second place. In an effort to move on with her life and fulfil her own dreams, Wendy starts spending more time with another doctor. But reality starts to sink in and there is no denying the truth…
