For years, Wendy Curtis has been in love with Roger Harley.

Their love for tennis was mutual and many of the off-duty time was spent playing. But as their friendship grew stronger, Wendy realised that it wasn’t enough for her. She was in love with Roger, and there was no denying it. However, it was clear to her that Roger saw her as little more than a younger sister.

Roger Harley’s had always dreamt of opening a nursing home. With a small fortune due to be inherited, Roger’s focus was entirely on this dream he’d been nurturing. There was no time for a wife or family. There would be plenty of time for that once he had the nursing home up and running.
