Operation Thunderflash

By Richard Townsend Bickers

1943, London. A Lancaster squadron is taking the fight to the Germans. Far from happy, there is animosity between commanding officer Leatham and the rest of the crew. One of his flight commanders, Moakes, is resentful of Leatham and tries to get him killed. Matters become worse when Leatham’s wife falls in love with young newcomer Bill. Weak and calculating, Leatham hatches ‘Operation Thunderflash’, leaving his comrades in the dark about what it involves. Only Leatham and his co-conspirators know the true details of the operation. But his scheme does not go to plan…
