Churchill was perhaps the greatest British leader of the last hundred years but how did the man become the Prime Minister who led his country through WWII? From his inability to shine as a Harrow schoolboy to his active service in Cuba as a cavalry subaltern then as a war correspondent in South Africa, his experiences lead him to Parliament when, in the gravest crisis Britain had ever faced, he was called to assume the nation’s leadership.
