Hades to Sunset

Guilty until proven innocent…

O’Donnell and Tex Tyler had both been wrongly incarcerated and were serving their separate sentences splitting rock in a chain gang in Starr County.

It was back-breaking work. In pairs they slaved away each and every day, constantly aware that any slip of the hand could result in shattered bones, or even death.

But O’Donnell was always on the alert and as soon as a glimmer of an opportunity arose to overthrow their guard, he grabbed it.

O’Donnell became a man on the run with Tex alongside him. Both had wrongs to right and were filled with a thirst for justice but were unsure what step to take next.

Then they bumped into Stumpy Jervis, a face from Tex’s past, who spun a tale of murder and deceit which made O’Donnell’s right hand itch.

Neither men were willing to stand by as wicked men grow rich and fat. Especially when righting a wrong meant settling an old score along the way.

But dollars bought the Law in Calder Valley and Wesley Calloway owned everything that moved.

Would Lady Luck smile on the man with a cool head and a good right hand?

How far must a man travel before justice is done? All the way from Hades to Sunset
