Meeting Myra Campbell again sets Ted Patrick thinking. So eager was Myra for Ted’s attention, Ted knew she would do anything for him… again. When Myra informs him that she works for a famous sportsman, Jimmy Hull, Ted starts to formulate a plan. This could be his biggest house-breaking job. Ernest Dudley was a journalist, novelist, playwright, scriptwriter and actor. He was born in Worcestershire in 1908 and died in London in 2006. Largely self-educated, Dudley had a fascinating career. His most enduring achievement was the creation of Dr. Morelle, the lead character in Dudley’s successful classic mystery fiction.
