A Suitable Case for Love

By Elizabeth Hilton

Jenny Goodwin is PA to one of the senior managers at a large reputable London bank, and in line for promotion to junior manager. The only downside to her life is the unwelcome persistence of Peter Sinclair, who she met at a dinner party. Although she doesn’t consider him to be a stalker, she is worried about his influence over her Aunt Evie, who lives alone in the tiny village of Wimbish.

One day at the bank, Jenny meets the handsome Marcus Berenger, who works in IT. She thinks he is arrogant and wants nothing to do with him. When Marcus rescues her from a troublesome situation with Peter in the foyer of the bank, she agrees to go on a date with him. Eventually, Jenny falls in love with the charismatic but mysterious American…

Marcus has a secret which he cannot divulge to Jenny. Knowledge of the real reason why he is in London could endanger her and Aunt Evie. He must do everything in his power to protect them. But over time, his secrecy leads Jenny to believe that he is a womaniser.

Jenny returns to her childhood home when a crisis at the bank leads to her resignation.

Will Jenny succeed in a new career? Can she ever forget the man she never really knew?
