A few months ago Melissa Feilden’s life seemed perfect. Recently engaged to Damien Brown, she was getting ready to settle down to married life. But then she caught Damien kissing her supposed best friend, Leonie.
And so she found herself jobless, homeless, and alone – and all only week before her would-have-been wedding day.
With nowhere else to go, and in need of a fresh start, Melissa decides to move on to where her married life would have started – and gets a job as a PA to Nic Haldane, owner of the Trailover House country hotel.
She soon finds herself falling for the handsome and enigmatic Nic, but his business partner Olivia is after him as well. Things become even more complicated when Damien turns up, begging her to take him back…
